Health & Taste together yet to evolve mainstream in India ... My take in ET

3 comments:

  1. Nutraceuticals& Functional Foods still miss the hand shake with its mass consumer!!
Aloevera Drinks,Chavanprash etc falls in Nutraceuticals Basket where as Healthier option for impulse category comes in functional foods with specific deliveries like lesser calories, high fibre, meal replacement .
These segments formulates on less popular ingredients which have their own inherent taste. So challenge for market is to drive the consumption on its original taste rather than putting too much effort on adding popular taste to healthier section because in doing so it is inevitable that you loose its healthier property.

  3. Hi Devendra
Mr Biyani and you are a Game Changers as always. With Patanjali AYURVEDIC products on your shelf space will benefit Indian public significantly.
This range of products have tremendous power which can be unleashed by powerful cos like FUTURE RETAIL space, by utilising Health Analytics. If AYURVEDIC products are promoted in an authenticated manner (driven by algorithm program) then the buyer's confidence will boost.
Pls contact in an event you need some clues on this subject
    Best wishes
